Bagina McCline at 16th and Peachtree Street Photography Project in Atlanta, Georgia

  Museum of Design Atlanta-MODA

E37 Photography began this photography session on a sultry night on Peachtree Street near 16th Street. The Woodruff Art Center stood on one side of the street. We were across the street at the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA). This area became our center stage. Only a small portion of the local Atlanta city library was in view to the left of the camera. Model Bagina McCline posed in front of the glass display as the lights glistened from the inside of the building. She visited Atlanta for the weekend from New York. She had scheduled a Sunday shoot for the weekend but we agreed sneak in an impromptu photography session Saturday. She wore a blue lace two piece along with a long piece of blue tulle fabric furnished by Tutus by Cheryl which appeared in all the scenes wrapped around her body from head to toe. Bagina graced her elegant moves floating the fabric with flair in mid-air. The first images below displayed an applied antique filter to depict an aged nostalgia look. The name descriptions of MODA appeared prominently from the store front which promoted a modern touch of the building. Bagina looked statuesque and tall at 5ft 11in.  Her short hair appeared simply noble with her chiseled chin and high cheekbone face. A minimum amount of makeup on face added to her innocence with the natural trees in background. Her bare feet displayed a sense of a carefree look to the scenery. A very pleasant minimum breeze  blew in the air to enhance the still of the night. Bagina made a great to effort to orchestrate the fabric floating in the air. She moved as an artistic dancer turning in 360 in rotation. Due to the short length of time there was no video of this performance. It takes a great model to deliver this enactment. The photographer reaped the benefits of her professional model experience to present the images in this presentation.
The next image displayed the tulle fabric frozen in the air after it was tossed up several times

The next images were photographed near Peachtree Street. Bagina posed near the iconic Atlanta black light pole which displayed the iconic gold phoenix symbol of Atlanta City. Both images displayed the skyline buildings of Atlanta in the background. The Photographer focused on scenes in the South direction of Atlanta. We photographed in an area called Midtown Atlanta. If you would travel South from this area, you would travel to the downtown district of the city. Overall, we were happy with the results especially since this shoot was not planned very quickly and photographed in a short amount of time.

Another shoot is scheduled in a few weeks with a different model and location. The color theme will be yellow/gold. The tulle fabric will be  implemented again but with a very unique concept. This is as much of a hint you will know now with exception of the location at the corner of 10th and Peachtree Street.
